1. Are you a certified hypnosis practitioner?

Yes, Diana has been a certified hypnosis practitioner since 2013, with an additional certification completed in 2022. In her physical practice in Germany, she applies hypnosis several times a week for many years now. She is also a certified Naturopath and applies trauma therapy, NLP, EMDR and family constellation.

2. What is hypnosis, and how does it work in the Ithelps app?

Hypnosis is a natural state of focused relaxation where your mind becomes more receptive to positive suggestions. In our app, we guide you through audio sessions that help rewire subconscious habits, like cravings for smoking or sugar. It's like a deep meditation combined with targeted affirmations—no “swinging watches” or loss of control involved.

3. Is hypnosis safe?

Yes, hypnosis is completely safe when used for therapeutic purposes like ours. Our sessions are based on our experience and are non-invasive. You'll remain aware and in control throughout. It is all safe with one exception: if you have conditions like epilepsy or severe mental health issues talk to us first!

4. Will I lose control during a hypnosis session?

No, that's a myth from movies! You stay fully conscious and can stop at any time. Our app sessions guide you, you relax deeply and absorb a new program for your goals of quitting bad habits.

5. How long does a typical session take, and what do I need?

Each session includes a briefing (about 30-60 minutes) and the hypnosis part (around 2 hours), totaling up to 3 hours. You'll need a quiet space, good headphones, and a comfortable spot to lie down. Complete it in one go for the best results.

6. What results can I expect from the quitting smoking/sugar/weight loss sessions?

You took the decision to quit and change? Then your chance of success is close to 100%. Our hypnosis targets the subconscious root of addictions. Consistency in execution by following our guidance, briefing and hypnosis session are key.

7. Is hypnosis effective for everyone?

Hypnosis works well for most people who are open to it and motivated to change. Studies show high success rates for habit-breaking, but it's not a magic cure and needs your will and thoroughness in execution. If it didn’t work for you, do it a second time, but it is rarely required. Wait for a week or two, in most cases the result materialises delayed.

8. Are the sessions available in multiple languages?

Currently, we offer sessions in English and German (e.g., our smoking cessation session in German). Stay tuned for more.

9. What if I don't feel any different after the session?

It's normal for changes to feel subtle at first. Give it a week or two. Be reminded, without your strong will to change, it will not work. Hypnosis is not the magic pill but rather building you the bridge to a better you. If you're unsatisfied, our one-time payment model includes access to revisit sessions anytime. 11. Do you offer refunds or guarantees?
